My fascination with making jewelry started when I received this hot pink plastic chain necklace with all sorts of vibrant plastic charms to adorn it as a young girl. It was my favorite necklace and I wore it everyday!! Through the years I would dabble with stringing seed beads on fishing line to form a necklace, which kept sparking the interest to advance my style.

One day, after my Senior year of high school, I moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to live with my brother and his wife. His wife and I shared a common interest...making jewelry. She was quite advanced as she had quite an array of beads, findings, tools, etc... We'd pull up a couple of tv trays and bead together. Right away, she gave me a beading needle that she preferred to use and beading thread. I was quite honored.

During that time, I became employed at Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts. I would buy their glass seed beads to make various decorative safety pin pins (heart, American Flag, Leprechaun hat, awareness ribbon, etc...), which was inspired by a co-worker named Patra.

Eventually, I moved back home and forgot all about making jewelry for a time until a few years ago when I got back into it. I started drawing up a bunch of designs on paper and buying the best quality beads and findings available to bring those drawings to life.
