Occupation: One woman show behind UsThemWe
Age: 34 years young

The Facts:
I have been designing clothing and accessories for women for the last 18 years. I went to school for fashion design here in Toronto at Ryerson Polytechnic University and George Brown College. I have worked retail for the last 12 years as a dayjob and specialized as a Visual Merchandiser. I have also freelanced as a wardrobe stylist for the last 4 years.
I work in a studio in my home where I design, draft the pattern and sew on my Singer Commercial Grade Sewing Machine and serge on my Singer QuantumLock.

The Mission:
I design with the subversive person in mind, redefining subculture and making it my own. I believe in the DIY mentality and stand true to it. I create each piece as an individual.

The other side of UsThemWe:
When I am not creating I love to bake vegan goodies and cook up a storm in the kitchen. I cruise around town in my orange banana seat bike and love my coffee dates with my friends. I read quite a bit and look forward to my time with my hubby Jay, laughing and looking for adventure.



I love what I do and consider myself very fortunate to live out my passion. If I can make something that makes you smile then I am soo totally stoked to the maximum.
