Scissorstitch handmakes products characterized by modern style, handcrafted warmth, and whimsy. The process of hand-making results in clever combinations of materials, colors, and form. The current collection features housewares, clothing accessories, and goods for toddlers & infants.

Scissorsitch arose from my ongoing explorations in image and object making. I draw inspiration from an everpresent love of design, an amusement with mundane and discarded objects, and first hand experience with toddler hijinks. My studio is littered with my 2.35 year-old daughter's toys, thrifted finds, and bundles of old card catalog cards, all of which influence my creative process.
