Bio

I started doing hand built pottery back in 2002. I apprenticed under my father, who has been a successful artist/potter for the past 20 years. When I began it was at his suggestion. At first I mimicked his style to get the feel of clay. While I loved his work, it wasnt really "my" taste and mine drifted into a more "girly" style. The feel of hands in clay is such a sensuous feeling, I feel like I become a part of the clay. As much as I love selling my work, and knowing others love it, I love love love creating it. Each piece completed feels like giving birth, minus the pain!
