Bio

The sunny, tropical island where I live inspires me to paint happy, colorful, and wild designs on just about any small wooden furniture piece or accessory I can get my hands on. I take my ideas from textile prints, travel experiences or just my backyard. I prefer to paint smaller pieces, such as step stools and childrens' furniture, anything where fun can be added to function; but am willing to take on any project. While no two works are exactly alike, I have developed some recurring, favorite motifs. As wild and random as they seem, all my pieces follow a certain logic resulting in my unique style. I will post what I paint as I paint it, but also welcome any private commissions. I have an extensive portfolio of painted pieces I would be happy to share.
