Bio

Crochet is the all-seeing emperor of the needlecrafts. I like to think of each stitch as a pixel - using increases, decreases, and stitches of various heights, it's possible to create a soft, real-world model of almost any three dimensional object. My aim in writing patterns is to provide the rationale for calling for these different elements, and to help beginners understand how to use the elements to design their own crochet models.

CHILDREN
Please note: crochet specimens from the Wunderkammer are not intended as toys for young children; the eyes are made with seed beads which could present a choking hazard. Please use caution! It's also possible to eviscerate the octopuses with enough prodding. Probably not dangerous, but there will be little scraps of cloth everywhere and it will be a mess!

CUSTOM ORDERS

SHIPPING
I ship through the USPS and will include delivery confirmation on all orders over $10. I can include insurance on request at the postal service rate.

For international orders, please consult with your local post office regarding customs and tariffs which must be paid in your home country.

PATTERN EMAIL
I will send all ordered pdf patterns to the email address associated with your Etsy account, unless otherwise specified. Please make sure that this is a valid account, that you can receive attachments up to at least 5 megabytes in size, and that email from the gmail.com domain will not be going to a spam trap!

PATTERN SUPPORT
I strive to make my patterns as clear and understandable as possible - that's why I use English instead of shorthand. But if you run into any trouble with a pdf pattern, I'll be available to answer any (and all) questions you might have over email. All patterns are written with American standards for yarn and hook sizes.
