I live in Portland, Oregon and have been making crocheted wire jewelry for a few years. The pieces you see listed on Etsy are all 'one of a kind', as they are made with many types of stone, semi-precious gems, pearls, shell, coral, glass and crystal beads. However, similar pieces can be reproduced with little variation other than the unique and characteristic differences in beads.

At this time, all pieces are constructed with high quality enamaled copper wire. If you desire a piece made with silver or gold wire, it is available but by custom order only (more custom order information below). All pieces are finished with precious metal cones, findings and closures.

Because each piece is constructed of several strands of crocheted wire, the necklaces tend to hold their shape with some rigidity. They can be gently twisted and pulled, so once you receive a necklace or bracelet you've ordered, you can shape it to sit on your neck to your desire. Simply unhook the clasp so you can gently stretch, twist and pull, and try on for fit until it's just right.

All pieces are sturdy and substantial. Some can feel 'heavy', but because of their construction, weight tends to distribute itself more evenly around your neck, rather than pull at the back of your neck in one spot.

Because of these characteristics unique to this style of construction, I've found that most people are more excited and interested to see, touch and feel them in person. While I can't send out samples, I will post dates of shows and art walks I'll be attending below.

Custom orders are always welcome, whether you want something just for you, a gift for someone special, or sets for weddings or parties. Simply convo me and we can get started from there. Any custom orders will be finalized through Etsy.
