Bio

Denise is me and all this happened quite by accident. You see all I wanted was some gingerbread man ornaments that looked like real cookies. I couldn't find any I liked so I bought some stuff I found at the craft store and low and behold years later polymer clay has taken over the home office. After the ornaments I started to experiment with cute little figures but once I gave one or two to everyone I knew I got stuck. Then I participated in a bead swap at my local Polymer Clay Guild and I had to teach myself how to make beads. Then I bought a book and taught myself how to string and do some wire work. What girl doesn't love jewelry!? One can never have enough jewelry! Finally something fun to make that was useful too! Whoohoo! The same friends and family now started getting jewelry. People started commenting on how I always had cute perfectly matched jewelry. They wondered wherever did I buy it? Word got out that I made it. (I was always too nervous to tell people so somebody around me would always chime in) People told me I should sell it. So I nervously put four sets in a friend's mom's shop. They sold! Oh and I do trade every now and then. I love artwork, purses, hair thingies, ATC's, stuff for my business, crochet and knit stuff, wirework and metal jewelry.
