Bio

Hi. My name is Laurie O'harra and I live in Reno, Nevada, with my wonderful husband and two sons. Both the boys are in college. As we all know college is expensive and helping the boys through college was one of the driving forces in starting my craft business, aside from the fact I've been been a creative person all my life. Now that my husband just lost his job (10/31/09) my craft business has become another driving force in making extra money to support my family, along with my full time job.

My craft business is named Laurels By Laurie (named by husband 10+ years ago) and I have mainly sold at craft shows for many years. I've now switched my focus to selling online here at etsy. I truly love etsy and I hope to be as successful as some of the top sellers here someday....that's my goal, in addition to sharing my heartfelt designs with buyers who share my love of handmade and decorations that can truly make a house (apartment) a home.

Here at Laurels By Laurie you will find beautiful, year-round and seasonal one-of-a-kind wreaths. If you see something you'd like more than one of, please ask me. Or if you see something in my sold section you'd like made, just ask me as well and I can see if I can find the materials again to make another one. In life, to me, there's always a way to work anything out.
