Bio

I live just outside beautiful Chicago. I have been handcrafting for years and years! Most of the time what I makes revolves around natural materials, fabric, fiber, function and recycling.

My most recent ventures are felted recycled wool, jewelry making and beading. I also macrame, crochet, knit and quilt.

I love working with felted wool. The textures and colors are glorious! Add in the additional pleasure of shopping at my local thrift stores for that ugly or holey sweater waiting to be transformed and I am unspeakably happy!

My work is of my own design and not massed produced. I do like certain color combinations so you will see them more than once, but the materials will usually be different. I make and design each item one at a time.
