TheRedLeaf's Profile

Bio

I love to design and create. I have a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, so I naturally gravitate towards things that are aesthetically pleasing, particularly those that have the *bling* factor.

I often found myself not having the right color or style of earrings to go with my outfit, which began my journey into jewelry making. And boy, I'm hooked! Every time I create a piece, I find myself wanting to keep it... and that's my little test. If I don't want to keep it, then I don't try to sell it. It's bittersweet, but it makes for quality.

My style is also a little eclectic and will show through my work. There are days when I adore loud and crazy parties, and there are days when a quiet book with coffee and a book is perfection. I love color as well as the lack thereof. Sometimes dangly, jangly earrings will make my day, while other times a delicate pair of earrings is all I need to feel beautiful. It's all about the constant change, isn't it?

The Red Leaf began as an idea – that leaves fall from trees and are then blown around by the wind, without care or say. That idea, it turns out, is my life. I started off in The Philippines and has since been blown to Australia and then to Oklahoma. The winds changed again recently and took us for a new adventure to Alaska. Being a military family, our adventures are yet to be over.

FAQ:

• Do you do custom orders?
I sure do. I welcome all requests for custom creations, or even a replica of a sold item. Just send me a convo!

• How is the jewelry packaged?
All jewelry come gifting-ready, in their own white box wrapped with ribbon. Other items will come in a plastic resealable bag or tissue paper. If the item is for a gift, let me know and I will box that up also.

• How do I care for my jewelry?
Handmade jewelry are just that – hand made. They are naturally delicate and should be handled with care. Keep jewelry in airtight bags to slow oxidation of sterling silver. Avoid prolonged exposure to heat and sun. Avoid using ultrasonic or harsh jewelry cleaners. Instead, use silver polishing cloths when necessary. Never expose wood jewelry to water for long periods of time.

• What is your return policy?
I do not offer refunds or exchanges. That said, if an item is damaged upon receipt, please send me an email (with pictures of said items) so that I can send you a replacement. Items that were lost in transit are not covered or replaced unless insurance ($2) was purchase beforehand.

• Do you offer international shipping?
Yes. I now offer shipping throughout the world.

• How often do you ship?
I try to ship daily if my schedule allows it. However, I normally ship on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
