5 Things About Me and the Things I Make

1. I really like to make things- sweaters for my kids, wool accessories, homemade pasta. Once upon a time, I served as the chief of staff of the Massachusetts cabinet office of Environmental Affairs. After having our first child, I realized I wanted to stay home with him. My love of the environment carries on in my work through the use of reusable objects. Stuck on You Flowers is a small (one person!) production-but I work hard and am now living happily ever after.

2. I follow fashion trends and try to incorporate them in my work. I read a lot of magazines pouring over Elle and W for inspiration. (I should read more novels.)

3. I do my best work when the music’s playing loudly especially when it’s ancient Who and Kinks, the Jam, Serge Gainsbourg, and Belle & Sebastian.

4. I am a thrift store fanatic so I am very happy to have found a way to incorporate my obsession into my work! I scour the local charity shops for jewelry odds and ends, and wool sweaters.

5. I am accommodating. If you have ideas for special colors you would like in a flower, handbag, cuff-I could probably get it done. I would happy to talk to you about a special order. Hair-comb? Mother/Daughter brooches? Bridesmaids present? I think my flowers make a unique and versatile gift!
