Leaves of Glass is jewelry designed and handmade from sterling silver and vintage beads. Inspired by Chicago architecture, junk car lots, works of fiction, film noir, art deco design, and the magic that is vintage glass, Leaves of Glass designs marry delicate and industrial elements to create a look that's organic and urban.

I'd just started making jewelry when I discovered vintage glass beads. They sparked my imagination in a whole new way; I fell in love, and have been obsessively hunting for unusual components ever since. I love using materials with provenance, and I put a lot of time and effort into finding unique vintage beads in excellent condition. I also think it's important to recycle materials when I can. All of my silver wire comes from a company that recycles sterling silver scrap, and all of my packaging contains post-consumer recycled material.

All of my jewelry is entirely sterling silver unless I've specifically noted otherwise (some pieces are made with copper, brass or gold filled components, and are all clearly labeled).

I am irresistably drawn to my workbench, so I list new items frequently. If you prefer clip-ons or different hooks on any pair of earrings, I'll be happy to change them (clip-ons carry an extra charge, but any other hooks can be changed for free).

I try to make my photographs and descriptions as thorough as possible, but sometimes I forget something, so please feel free to convo me with questions. Please convo me if you'd like to see additional pictures.

~ Please note: Due to the new California lead laws, I cannot sell items containing certain types of vintage chain or vintage metal components to California residents. Some of my designs can be reworked with different silver components in place of the chain, so feel free to contact me with questions and requests, but please know that I will have to cancel any California order that contains those metals, and cannot be reworked. ~
