History

Sewing has been my hobby for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Romania, during the Communist period and had restricted access to fashion magazines and patterns. As a child, I started sewing with a little toy sewing machine, making pretty dresses for my dolls. I then perfected my sewing skills with the assistance of my mother, to whom I cannot give enough thanks for instilling in me her passion for sewing. We were lucky to have access to Pramo and later on to Burda magazine subscriptions.

Inspiration

Burda has always been of great source of inspiration to me and I have gained a lot of experience sewing based on their patterns.

I've been experimenting with crochet, knitting and tatting designs to add that unique touch to my work.

Life inspires me and every minute counts. My day job involves sitting in from of a computer screen programming. I spend those precious extra minutes of spare time close to my sewing machine, knitting needles and crochet hooks turning my dreams into something more tangible for the shop.
