Bio

My name is Julia Garretson.
I grew up in Western Massachusets, where I became interested in making things with my hands. I moved to Portland, Oregon; and graduated from Oregon College of Art and Craft, with a degree in metalsmithing. I make many things including the jewelry and paper you see on this site. In addition I forge, weld, build with cob, make lampshades, and teach. Contact me about custom work.
