Bio

Based in Glasgow and trading as The Justified Sinner, I would describe myself as an experimental jeweller, using traditional techniques on untraditional materials such as rusty steel, prosthetic eyes or old ceramic doll parts (all of which have found their way into my recent pieces). These materials are combined with precious metals and stones to create unique, one-off pieces.

It is a personal rule that after I have made a piece, I will not make a copy or another piece substantially similar.

Until recently, my work was mostly inspired by the work of Baroque and Renaissance jewellers, but I have now been looking specifically at the Renaissance idea of the "cabinet of curiosities" as a source of ideas.
