Well, shucky-durn, I guess this is where you want to know something about me? I'm a mother of seven and yes I survived! So did they! Wonders never seize. That's where Everlasting comes from.

My mother taught me to crochet at the tender age of 6. I never knew how tender until the day I sat on one of her steel crochet hooks and it ended up sticking out of my leg. Yes, crocheting can be dangerous. She said that everyone should learn a craft. That's where crafty came from.

Now, lets see, several years had passed and I had gone to college, graduated, got a job as a Registered Ragiological Technologist in a local hospital, worked there for a total of 25 years. The last 5 years I worked the midnight shift and found I had time to revive my crocheting again. I had so much time, I could almost make a whole set of big boy booties (that's what I call them) in one night. Now after awhile I had so many items laying around, that I became like the old lady who lives in a shoe and didn't know what to do. So my daughter took my creations (get it?) to work with her and sold out. And that's the story I'm sticking with!
