Bio

It started with my love of jewelry making and shopping for beads. As I shopped for beads, I was really drawn to the gorgeous beads made from the artisan lampwork community. I wanted to know how those beads were made! By the end of the month of my intensive research I had ordered a beginners kit and haven't stopped since!

When full-time work and family life permits, I continue to go to different workshops, classes, and shows to fine tune my creations and implement new concepts in my glass and jewelry work.

THE ART OF LAMPWORK: Please keep in mind that each bead is handmade and the beads pictured are a representation of the beads you will receive. Additionally, the nature of flameworking dictates that minor variations in size, shape or color is expected. This is especially true of "organic" style beads that utilizes metals or frits to create a mottled appearance. I want you to be delighted with your items, therefore I will do my best to recreate as close to the original as possible.

PRICING OF BEADS: Prices for beads & focals are calculated based on a variety factors. A majority of the glass colors vary in prices based on the means of manufacturing the glass itself and the availability of the type of glass, frits, and/or enamels. Additionally, as a lampworker artisan, the complexity of steps and details to complete a design on each bead or focal theme plays into the price itself.
