Bio

Apple Noggin was birthed from the magical creative loins of me, Jody Sternhagen, in 2007. Bored with my job at a toilet seat factory, I would become lost in daydreams. My mind would stray to all of the butts that could eventually end up sitting on toilet seats I had made. Justin Timberlake, the President, or perhaps Chuck Norris? But, (no pun intended) mostly I would dream of owning my own business.

Since the day I packed up my desk at the toilet seat factory (just kidding they don't give you a desk at a toilet seat factory) I've been designing colorful, fun, cute, and quirky t-shirts with an anthropomorphic flare. All of these goodies are designed and handmade by me. I have a bit of help from a man-slave (my boyfriend) that I keep locked in a dungeon (our basement) where he screenprints all the t-shirts.

My mission for Apple Noggin is to cheer up the universe one person at a time. It's hard to be an A-hole while wearing a t-shirt with smiley ice creams all over it. Likewise, it's hard to be an A-hole to somebody wearing a t-shirt with smiley ice creams all over it. So, if you really want to be an A-hole, why not be A-whole lotta sweetness?

Apple Noggin exists due to the phenomenon that thoughts become real things. Everything I make starts out as a thought. It turns into a tangible creation. So, remember to always think wonderful thoughts because wonderful things will start appearing around you!
