All of Inner Fae creations come from the fantastical mind of artist, sculptor, and jewelry designer Trisha Leigh Shufelt. All Faerie inspired jewelry is created with antiqued nickel free brass, copper and antiqued silver filigree and findings, which are then wrapped or used with Czech, German or vintage glass faceted stones, rich in Faerie color. All OOAK Mushroom art is unique and one of a kind. Each piece is hand-sculpted using the finest blend of Polymer clays, painted with heat set oil paints, embellished with Faerie finery, and fired to perfection. Sculptures are signed and numbered by the artist.

Some frequently asked questions...
What does inner fae mean?
-I think it is pretty self explanatory but I am asked this a lot. Inner Fae simply means inner faerie. Fae comes from the word Faerie which comes from fie, fey or fae.

Why the airy faerie theme?
-I have a love for all things fantastical. My biggest influences have been Arthur Rackham and Brian Froud. I love the light and dark of faerie and try to reflect both in my artwork and writing. I have always held a fascination for the good people.

How long have you been sculpting?
-Since 1994 but I have been an artist since I picked up my first crayon.

Any books published?
I just recently created a Mushrooms of Faerie Field Guide inpired by my Mushroom sculptures.

Where do you get your images for your Looking Glass pieces?
-All the images that I use have been thoroughly researched. They are all in the public domain and date prior to 1930. Most if not all are preraphaelite in nature and no longer under copyright protection. It is never my intention to use anyones art that is still under copyright. I only wish to promote my love and appreciation of art through my crafting medium.
