Bio

Found objects and nature, or an inspiration of their qualities, begin the creative process. I sketch the concept to discern the logistics of the piece. The inside of the piece is often as technical if not more than the outside. Next, I hand forge and fabricate gold, silver and patina on copper. Lost wax casting, enamel, and cloisonné, are techniques often incorporated. The finished product has a purposeful organic feel to it.

My goal for each piece is that its solid construction, and hand texturing carry forth the treasured quality of the found object that originally inspired me.
