Bio

I have always been interested in drawing, painting and creating in some way. Family will always be a central focus in my life. I have a supportive husband who's been there for 25 years and 3 beautiful children who have begun to add grand-babies to our family. Less is needed of me now and I'm beginning to find more time for my own journey.
As are many artists, I am self-taught. I read and study the works of many well known artists. Much of what I've learned has been through the generous spirit of others.
I have been drawn to glass and watercolor for many of the same reasons; they are both elusive mediums. There's an element of unpredictability.. both can be difficult to control and that's at once exciting and challenging!
My glass beads and jewelry are becoming seasoned world travellers.. Australia, France and most recently the United Kingdom are just some of the places my work has visited that I have not.
The watercolors are taking a back seat to the glass at the moment but I'm sure that won't always be the case. There's always been room for many creative outlets in my life. I am ever learning and hope to continue to progress and grow as an artist.
