Howdy! I usually go by Oriri here, or Oreo depending on who you ask, but either works!

I'm work-at-home mother of three, with 18+ years of knitting under my belt. I'm also a web designer, and have worked closely with a professional jeweler for over 10 years. I've had some formal art training - just enough to understand colors, line and form.

I love, love, love color. I also am endlessly fascinated by all things string. That combination eventually led me to start hand spinning my own yarns; I couldn't find the colors and colorways I wanted in the fibers I needed for my designs. It's challenging, but the most fun I've had with fiber since I discovered knitting!

When it comes to creating, I'm a bit of a disorganized perfectionist - I dream it up, dye it, skein it up and hope it works! If I don't like how it turned out - be it one stitch off or a shade too dark - I fix it or redo it. Quality is worth the time... and half of luxury is exceptional quality!

I enjoy the little details of my work and passions - and I try to make sure that shows in each item, starting with the design and creation of each item, all the way to the description and photos of each listing. I want to inspire you, and hopefully share with you my love and enthusiasm for color, texture and design.
