Bio

Liebenow Design artisan studio was founded by artisan Caroline Liebenow and her husband, Heikki. Caroline is a native of the scenic Berkshires region of western Massachusetts and received her BFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1998, with a concentration in photography. Always inspired by variety, she works with silk, velvet, graphic design, and photography. Her themes and motifs are influenced by nature, architecture, the Italian Renaissance, and the French Provencal region.

In her work, Liebenow strives to integrate both fine art and functional design. Her works are in private collections in Finland and the USA.
