My need for creativity is genetic. My mother taught me to sew. My father taught me woodwork. As a family, we cook together.

Needing to find an outlet for my creative needs and to keep out of trouble, I began hand-stringing necklaces. With gas prices rising, I used the money earned from making jewelry to pay for gas to get to my job that paid the bills.

Currently, my husband and I are in the process of an international adoption. Proceeds from my sales on Etsy will fund our trip to Mexico to meet and bring home our daughter, Luisa.
