Bio

Atelier Chouette was created as my personal design house after 14 years as an art director and commercial production artist. I publish a line of toy and accessory patterns.

Currently my patterns are available in boutiques in northern California, Colorado, Texas, and New Zealand. My kits have been highlighted in Mary Engelbreit Home Companion & Curve Magazine, and I designed and produced a limited edition owl kit for the clothing store Anthropologie.

Currently I make creative decisions and original objects for a living. I hold a BFA in Painting and my previous career training includes formal wear design, commercial garment embellishment, fine art illustration, costuming, and printmaking.

I share my life with a patient, supportive spouse, three ornery cats, and a room full of fabric and paper.
