Bio

I've been spinning for about 5 years, and dyeing for nearly as long. I'm looking forward to developing a line of colourways that not only capture the spirit of the things that inspire me, but also embrace the natural beauty of the fibers I'm working with. I occasionally branch out into other mediums, such as painting, sculpture, altered books, decopage, and jewelry making. I knit consistently, and crochet every once in awhile, but my true love is spinning. I learn something new every time I sit down at a wheel.

When I'm not spinning, dyeing, or eyeing my chinchillas and wishing they had longer fur, I can usually be found writing, reading, or watching something acerbic, speculative, or terrible on tv. My interests are all over the place, and probably don't need to be explored at this juncture.

I have long red hair. I mention this only because you can occasionally find a stray one spun into my yarns, and I'd hate for anyone to be surprised.
