Bio
Even since I was a little girl I wanted to be an artist. I started doing calligraphy in the early 80's.I went into a partnership with my in laws in 1986 under the name of "Grubbies". We exhibited in all the major wholesale gift markets and also CBA which was the market for Christian Book Stores. In 2000 we closed our corporation and I continued my business under the name "for His glory".I sell my things in a few stores still and also on my web site cindy grubb.com. I still go to a few craft fairs and art shows.I really love "my job". I also have illustrated 2 books for Harvest House. One was "Sunnyside Up" a small breakfast cookbook and I illustrated Emilie Barnes "Simply Dinner "cookbook. My favorite thing I have done is my yearly scripture calendar. This year 2008 will be the 25th edition.Lately I've been trying my heart at atc's and collage. I love to collect old paper, photos, vintage ribbon and trim. Gives me an excuse to keep going to the flea markets and junk stores.Sometimes I'm afraid Oprah is going to show up at my door with the collecting disease Dr.
But my greatest joy is my 3 wonderful children.Annie my first born and best friend who also gave me 2 beautiful granddaughters,Emma and Kate. Mikey my middle child and free spirit and my baby Ben who now is 24 and has Down's.They are my inspiration. I love the Lord and hope my art brings Him the glory He deserves.
