My name is Tommy Venable and I am a native of Maryland but now live in Northern Virginia. As a profession, I work as a Graphic/Web Designer. As a passion, I create art out of polymer clay, draw and paint.

Which came first...the skill to draw...or the skill to sculpt?
A sculpture is a 3 dimensional drawing.
A successful drawing is a 2 dimensional sculpture.

Looping..what is looping? I call it looping but most people call it crochet. My mother taught me a chain stitch over 30 years ago...I never bothered to learn to read "crochet code" so over the past 30 years..I explored and discovered the many ways to "loop yarns" with a crochet hook and create...stuff.
In between my exploring and creating,
I work full time as a sign artist at a Trader Joe's grocery store.
