Bio

I`m a 40 year old artist living on the gulf coast of Florida with my wife and our three mischievous little imps.

While I have always had a passion for the artistic in one form or another in the past few years I have begun to seriously pursue newfound goals for my art.

The things that concern me, the topics I`m obsessed with relate to the human condition.
People intrigue me, they are full of beauty, ugliness, hope, joy, despair, and heroic accomplishment all at the same time.
I am amazed at the endless inspiration humanity provides me
The figure can convey a limitless number of meanings.
There is no better way to reveal your message , ideas, or worldview to a viewer than to represent that concept with the form of another person.
It is a form that all people can easily embrace in it`s infinite, boundless,emotive possibilities.
Even if that viewer disagrees with your message he/she will most definitely understand it on some level.
It is the only subject matter which has such vast potential for expression, it allows me to literally put a piece of myself on the canvas with every work.
That kind of intimacy is what good art is to me.

After years of struggle to get each piece just perfect I`ve discovered..they don`t have to be.
In fact the harder you reach for perfection the more it eludes you.

Besides, it`s alot more fun this way.
