Bio

Except for a stint in Florence, Italy, Rachelle been a Texas her entire life, in big cities and bucolic wide-spots-in-the-road alike. She recently moved from Texas to Tucson, Arizona where she works from home as a graphic designer for a small Austin-based printing company and (surprise) enjoys doing visual art in her spare time.

For three years, she was art director for two ground-breaking publications, The BackWord.com magazine and Austin Downtown Arts magazine. She is a founding member artist of Pump Project Art Complex in Austin and served as its gallery director. Currently, she is producing paintings on vintage fabric and recycled fashions incorporating embroidery, puff paint and spray paint.
