PROFILE:
I've always dabbled in one craft or another. My brother and I used to spend half our allowance on crayons and construction paper, clay or Play-Dough.

When I was young, my mom taught me to sew, crochet and knit and I made little outfits for my dolls. I made some of my maternity clothes when I was pregnant with my daughter and made a few outfits for her as well when she was a toddler. I haven't sewn in a while, but a few years ago, my latent creativity popped out again when I started making earrings for myself.

My love of earrings began when I was 11 or 12. I wore my hair super-short then and in order not to be mistaken for a boy, I wore the biggest earrings I could find. My hair has since grown considerably (as well as my figure, unfortunately!) but I still don't leave the house with naked ears. Too often, I couldn't find the kinds of earrings I liked at the price I wanted to pay so making my own seemed the easiest way to get what I wanted. I hope you enjoy wearing them as much as I do making them!
