Hi! I'm Jan - a self-taught beadweaver for six years. I've tried all the usual crafts and went to art college -too many years ago to tell! Present alter-ego, civil servant. Don't ask.....!

I live happily away from the city lights on a small island in a stone cottage with my son and my tailless Manx cat Astro.

I make mainly necklaces and amulet bags, sometimes a pair of earrings and the odd bracelet or two.For Christmas, I splash out making the most amazing beaded baubles!.

I make on a whim, so a lot of what I produce is just because I feel like it. Sometimes things work, sometimes not! It's a constant learning process but commissions are never refused so I always have something on the go.

I love the fact that my pieces are unique - so don't ever ask me to copy someone else's work.

I now have another skill to add to this Bio - Fluff-Bunny Wrangler!.....well what did you think happens when the beads take over?
