Bio

The Handmaidens are a North Carolina collective of nine artists, designers, and crafters who create handcrafted adornments for body and home.

In 2004, we joined together to participate and organize group trunk shows and local shopping events to promote our individual businesses and each other's work.

We are the founders and producers of The Handmade Market, a semiannual shopping event in Raleigh, NC that features a selection of the best and brightest regional and national independent designers, artists, and crafters from NC and beyond.
