Sergey Zhiboedov

An artist of Russian origin, I was born into a family in which both of my parents were artists. Surrounded by fine arts from the childhood, I later studied painting and stage design in an art institute.
My main subject is the landscape. I find great inspiration in the unembellished simplicity of nature and rural life. I strive to capture the subtle beauty of everyday life, simple, emotional moments of human interaction within a natural environment. Among the techniques I use are oil, pastel, and gouache. Lately, I have been exploring the medium of watercolor, which I find both unique and challenging due to its unpredictability.
My paintings are featured in numerous private collections in 45 States of America, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, and UK. I take part in art exhibitions and festivals. My latest awards include:
