Bio

I hated the sewing machine as a little girl with messy hair. Mom would demonstrate for me, but as soon as I sat down to stitch, I would end up with a tangled wad of thread and chewed up fabric. I just wanted to play outside!!

Years later I dusted off my sewing machine case with the sudden and unexplainable urge to sew... bags. 5 years later and I haven't stopped since!

I have combined my love of vintage fabrics, recycling, nature, and my constant need to be making something into GypsyTree.

My bags are meant to be used! They are strong and durable, able to carry all that stuff we need to carry around with us day to day. They are also washable, so you can sling it over your shoulder on your bike, or throw your groceries in it with no worries, and it's ok if your lotion explodes in the bottom!

I am working on making GypsyTree my full-time business because I know everyone likes bags and I sure love making them. I think there is a bag out there for every one and when you find yours, you'll fall in love!
