Bio

Been a potter and funky folk artist for many years now! I have a degree in Production Pottery from a tiny little college in North Carolina. I worked for several years for a successful pottery in Damariscotta, Maine. I was the owners only potter and we sold tons of pieces!! BUT! Now i have my own space making my own pottery...putting lots of myself in my work!

My pottery have been in Home design type magazines and a country decorating book too! There are pieces of my work all over the world and i love that idea!!!

My pottery is wheel thrown and sometimes hand altered in my wee little studio in my home out in a Kudzu field.

I share my studio with um..several curious cats and pit bull Pearl.
I am also the proud owner of a rescued Clydesdale named Sapphire! You wanna see pics..check out my flickr!!! ( i love my babies!)

Each piece of my pottery is an individual and unique to itself. My clay is a white earthenware which is handpainted with lead free glazes and fired to a shiney finish...meaning the piece you buy is both functional and fun!! Lots and LOTS of time is spent on each piece...lots of love too!
