Bio

I live in an Antique Cape Cod style house with my husband. We met at Rhode Island School of Design. We haven't stopped designing yet.
I have designed accessories, and jewelry for Boston boutiques. I have worked with commercial Photographers as a stylist searching out wardrobe, props and locations for such publications such as the Parker Brother’s 50th Anniversary Catalog and Boston Magazine. I have also worked with several Community Theater groups in all capacities especially costuming and set decoration.

We have personal collections ranging from beads to antique cast iron stoves. We can’t help it we still pick up things here and there that are too neat to pass up.As artists we can always see the potential to work it into our next project.

I'm especially happy working with Brides to create beautiful Handcrafted Wedding Garters and Accessories.I draw from my collection of Beautiful Antique and Vintage laces. I always use fine quality materials, Vintage or new.

If you want something special and unique for your wedding or other special day at a reasonable price--you have to order a custom garter from Peterene. I just sent some pictures of my venue, bouquet, and wedding dress and, voila,Peterene designed the beautiful, one-of-a-kind garters for me. Peterene shows the design in progress, too, so if it's not exactlt waht you had in mind, you have a chance to make changes before it;s too late. Top notch service and fabulous product. I highly recommend!

The garter I bought is absolutely fabulous! The colors are so rich, and the material is so soft that I'm not worried about it driving me nuts on my wedding day! Also the craftsmanship is top notch. I Will be recommending Peterene to all that I can. :)

Peterene was a pleasure to work with! She customized the tailored white on white garter to be white and pale blue - so that I have my "something blue" the day of my wedding! Very prompt in creating and delivery my garter - great service. I look forward to wearing it on my wedding day!
