Made in a Treehouse is Amanda, a Children's Librarian in Ohio. In my spare time I like to make things and I sell things here in order to make more things. I have been making lip balm, soap and bath scrubs for friends and family for 3 years. I've been surrounded by some amazing sewers my entire life (mom and grandma) however, it didn't stick until age 29...and now I can't stop! Sewing is my very favorite hobby, by far.

I am inspired by the natural world --especially trees and things of the past...and somehow I started making zombie lip balm along the way...I blame my husband for that :)
