Bio

I was an art major in college, and graduated with an interest in bookbinding, which just fits, because I've always loved reading and the beauty of old books. Largely self-taught, I am always interested in learning new techniques and bindings. The book arts world is very inspiring to me! Exposed spine sewings are my favorite bookbinding technique, because the structure of the book is also part of the book's decoration. I love to use recycled materials in my books, and have recently been working along these lines. Currently, I am studying calligraphy, and look forward to incoporating text into my work in the future.

Bibliosophy Books creates unique handmade books, artist's books, and original drawings and prints (look for some calligraphy, coming soon!). Custom work is accepted if you would like a book with a specific color scheme or other features.
