If you have a favorite wool that you're just dying to have made into yarn, please let me help. I’ll be most happy to wash, card, or spin your raw wool, or other fiber.

Have experience with Icelandic, Merino, Romney, Shetland, Alpaca, Angora (bunny), Mohair, Targhee, Coopworth, Cotswold, Corriedale, Tunis, Jacob, Suffolk, Dorset and various other forgotten or unidentifiable fibers. I even tried spinning dryer lint once – but wasn’t very good at it (LOL).

On request, I will spin a sample for you - either single ply, energized single, or two-ply. Or, you can choose your yarn weight from the samples shown. I use a Strauch drum carder, and occasionally hand-cards, depending on the fiber.

Contact me with:
(a) approximately how much wool you will be sending,
(b) when you need it,
(c) whether it needs to be washed and carded,
(d) the type of fiber if you know (or generally whether
it is sheep, goat, rabbit, etc.) and/or
(e) the yarn weight you would like spun


and I will give you an approximate date of completion.
