Loudlife's Profile

Bio

I'm a stay at home mom of one adorable little girl, Rexy, who is 5 years old now and wife to sweet husband Phil.

Currently I'm experimenting in the mediums of Mixed Media, Altered, and Assemblage Art. I also make jewelry, paint in oils, occasionally make hand-built pottery, do mosaics for outdoor use - and last year I knitted one scarf!

My primary goal in art is to encourage self-expression; in others as well as in myself. Years ago I read this quote from Emile Zola, "If you ask me what I came into this world to do, I will tell you I came to live out loud." I have striven to do just that ever since.

My background: I have been making jewelry for 18 years and painting for more than 25 years. I am largely self-taught, although I have occasionally taken painting classes. I have sold my work in galleries and boutiques throughout the Seattle area and once had my jewelry worn in a TV movie! I have recently been published in Somerset Memories magazine and in the indie 'zine, A Handmade Life.

Please let me know if you are interested in ordering custom work. Within certain parameters, I am happy to oblige.

I usually ship twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
PayPal, ProPay, and Revolution Money Exchange accepted.
