Bio

The Knitting Pirate has been obsessed with yarn and string for as long as she can remember, beginning with friendship bracelets and weaving on a plastic loom. She learned to knit at eight, but didn’t really pick it up as a hobby until her late 20s. Other string-related hobbies include spinning, inkle and card weaving, embroidery, sewing, quilting and, yes, the occasional friendship bracelet.
