I love the whole process of natural dyeing. From growing and collecting, to seeing the rich natural colors that emerge. I only collect a small bit at the time, so dye lots are small and no two are alike. The colors are seasonal and reflect the time of year. I choose dye stuff that is known for it's fastness. All naturally dyed yarns can be washed and dried on the gentle cycle.

The color ways of my yarn are inspired by the colors of the time of year. Living in the midwest I feel very connected to the changing of the seasons and seek to reflect that change, either through what I am seeing outside, or what I am hoping to see soon. Colorways are unique and never repeated.
