This is the de-stash store for ZestyB.etsy.com. While some items come from excess studio stock, many items are sourced from the summer time past time of yard sales, or browsing antique shops and discovering something interesting.

*Cutting to order*
Is it too long? Only need a yard or two? Most trim, fabric, and ribbon items are listed with the total available length. I'm happy to cut the trims and fabric to suit your need.
You do have two options for purchasing a cut-to-order item: Send me a convo indicating the item and the length you need and I will list a reserved item just for you to purchase.
OR
You may place the order on Etsy and indicate in the Notes to Seller the length you desire. Hold off on submitting payment at PayPal; I’ll send an invoice to your email address for the proper amount.

Adjustments are made such that the new listing is the original price divided by your length plus a small $1 cut fee. Shipping charges will also likely be adjusted due to the new weight. :D


*Custom Orders*
Perhaps you need more than I have listed in the shop, or you find something in my sold items? I do like to space things out, so please don't be shy in asking.
Do you see something you like, but it's not your size or favorite color? you'd like to swap in a different stone? Fall in love with a sold item? Want a bracelet or earrings to go with a necklace? If so, I would love to talk with you about a custom order!

*Payment*
PayPal is automatically accepted on all listings.
Zesty Betsy can accept your credit card directly, or if you would like to make arrangements to use Google Checkout, I'd be open to that as well. Send me a convo if you prefer alternate payment methods. Items will be re-listed if payment is not received within 3 days, unless alternate arrangements are made.


*Taxes (Ugh)*
Do I have too? If you purchase and ship your items within Massachusetts, yes, a 5% sales tax will be added when you check out thru PayPal. On the plus side, if you also happen to be somewhat local to me in Boston, arrangements could be made for a pick up to eliminate any shipping charges (-:

* Shipping Method*
My default shipping rates are for US Postal Service First Class. These are guesstimates where I used the farthest service zone from Boston, MA, USA.
Do you need it faster? Let me know. Depending upon your needs and ultimate location ~ how fast you need it, tracking options, etc ~ shipping methods may be adjusted as you need.


*Shipping Address*
Is this a gift? Are you shipping to someone else? Have you moved recently?
I generally want to ship to the confirmed PayPal account address, if you do pay with PayPal. They offer some address verification assurances. To eliminate any delays in shipping, please make sure your PayPal address matches your Etsy address, OR make a comment for your shipping preference in the “Notes to Seller”
I will ship items as gift deliveries, just make a note in the "notes to seller.” I'll also omit an invoice/packing slip on gift orders.
If there is a difference between your Etsy address & your PayPal address, I will contact you to confirm the correct destination to ensure you receive your order.


*Shipping Times*
Normally, items are shipped out within 48 hrs of receiving confirmed payment, except Sundays & holidays when the post office isn't open. Customized items will note in their descriptions if there is a lag time for creating or customizing the items.

USPS estimates 3-10 days shipping time for most domestic shipments (international ship times will vary and may be as long as 6 weeks to some locations!). If you require package tracking, guaranteed delivery, or special shipping services; I’m quite happy to oblige. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee shipping times otherwise.

If an item or package is damaged in shipping (oh no!), if possible, take a photo to document the condition of the package. Do not discard the packaging. It is very important to retain the packaging for insurance documentation. Then contact me ... Pretty please, do not leave negative or neutral feedback without contacting me first!


*International Shipments*
I love shipping to my international customers. But, some items are restricted – such as seeds and organic materials - so some listings in the shop are without an international shipping option. If you do find that the items are allowed, I will happily update the listings and ship to you.


*International shipments customs, tariffs, VAT, import duties*
More taxes? Some items, most often high value items, may be assessed custom tariffs, taxes, or duties. All such local customs and importing government fees are the normal responsibility of the purchaser.


*Return Policy*
I want you to be pleased & happy happy happy with your purchases. If you wish to exchange or refund, I will, when possible. Exchanges or refunds of your purchase price are accepted for 10 days after your receipt of the items less any shipping charges. Please contact me for additional return information. Do not return items without prior communication. Exchanges, credits or refunds will be processed within 48 hours of receipt of goods at the return address. Unfortunately some jewelry (earrings) and special cut to order items may not be returned.


Just a reminder ~ I do my best with descriptions, but monitor colors and display are not uniform! and the size of items can be difficult to guess online. All Zesty Betsy (and Zesty Beads) items are created and stored in a smoke-free environment! Alas the cats do enjoy helping me in every way they can ~ holding down paper, helping me list items by sleeping on the keyboard, eating beading wire ~ I keep them out of the craft room, and the studio but *sigh* somehow they do get into the things you want them to leave alone.
