I am a UK based designer with BA (Hons) Textiles Design Degree. I design and create fabric and paper sculptures using a mix of new, vintage and recycled materials... and I hand stitch almost everything!

Fabric and Paper Birds, design and detail

I have been designing and creating these little birds for a number of years now from my studio in England. Their distinctive design and individual character have made them my strong ‘signature design’. Each little bird is carefully hand stitched using a combination of vintage, recycled and or new materials.

These enchanting little birds make beautiful Wedding Cake Toppers, engagement or anniversary gifts. As a custom order they are individually designed to incorporate your wedding colours adding a personal and unique touch to your special day!

I can work with you to create simple 'plain' fabric birds to 'fully 'dressed' birds wearing vests, ties, flowers and veils. Each little bird is completely hand stitched using natural fabrics such as linens, fine wool suiting and 100% silk and bridal satin. Laces are either individually sourced vintage lace pieces, or new bridal lace.

These little birds also make delightful memento and thank you gifts for your Special Guests, Bridesmaids or Flower Girls. Lots of colours are available in either plain or patterned fabrics. You can also add other design elements such as flowers, bouquets and boutonnières.

Wedding and gift birds are beautifully packaged in an ivory keepsake box, tied with pretty coordinating ribbon and gift card is included.
