Bio

I am a creative, spiritual soul trapped in a beautiful, Chocolate woman's body. I was born in a small town in Arkansas. My mother and first step father made their exodus to Minnesota when I was about 5 years old. This has been my home every since.

For years I admired yarn crafts. In the fall of 2005 I finally made the decision to teach myself to crochet. With the encouragement and knowledge of friends I researched the basics of crochet. I remember my first finished crochet project was a scarf done in shell stitches with the cheapest, scratchiest yarn I've ever touched. I was immensely proud of that scarf. And quickly made another with the same scratchy yarn to give to a friend. The pride I felt after gifting something I made with my own hands was amazing. I knew I had to keep going.

With the encouragement of friends and family I started selling pieces that I had made. I was pleasantly surprised when people actually started buying! I get requests from family to make hats, scarves, mittens and other things to complete their winter wardrobe. But I mostly enjoy the freedom to create whatever I want when I want. If someone likes it, that's a bonus.

These days I am a Training Specialist by day and a mother, lover, peace maker, crafter by night. My joys come from seeing my family happy and fulfilled. I enjoy encounters with like minded individuals.
