Bio

I began creating my own soaps in the interests of bettering what my children use, courtesy of my influence.
A love of our Creator, the knowledge that they are loved beyond comprehension, how to make good choices, and of course, a snobbish appreciation of good soap are just some things that I hope I can pass along to them.

My favourite saying at the moment is "If you know better, you do better".
I love that it is applicable in all aspects of our lives. To this end, my desire is to use products that are as close to 'natural' as you can get. You will notice that I limit the amount of synthetic materials I use - ie no parabens, 'cones, artificial preservatives etc. I also choose organic and/or fair trade and/or local materials to use where available.

The resonating vibe of 'Reuse Reduce Recycle' has led me to take Mama Suds in a different direction from 'Joe Bloggs Bath and Body'. I reuse packaging sent to me, which also lessens the cost of packaging I am sending to you.
I also browse local thrift stores and yard sales looking for vintage soap dishes and one of a kind boxes to use for customisable gift baskets. Always original and ecclectic - my favourite combination!

I am now open to customising orders to best meet the needs of your individual skin type.

I am a New Zealand born work at home mother of three young children who love to get dirty, therefore keeping me in business; and wife to one good looking clean smelling man.
