Bio

My venture started with a necklace I saw on a client in a hair salon I owned in Baltimore. That led me to a local bead store and I was immediately hooked. With encouragement from my friend Angela Walker of Angela Walker jewelry, I decided to make my own line of jewelry. I am mostly self taught other than a few classes. I have recently had the honor of meeting some very talented women metalsmiths in Baltimore. We are all looking forward to new friendships as well as learning from one another. I love all aspects of jewelry making and admire the wonderful talents of other artisans. On a more personal side, I am married 18 years to a great guy, who in his own right, is an artist. In the kitchen! NOT figure friendly food but taste bud friendly for sure! I also have 2 wonderful boys, Vasillios 18 and Gabriel 10. Vasili plays drums and is a musician in the making. I think Gabe will follow in his big brothers foot steps!

I love classic rock, 80's alternative music, greek music, contemporary jazz, soul(r&b)music, great food, great people, politics, my kids, my husband, my family and friends, good conversation, creative people, progressive thinkers, compassion for others, my furry critters(kitties all 3 of them), nature, cutting hair, laughter and lots of that, giving in all forms and loving others..Oh, and cussing when the urge strikes... ;)
