I was Recently filmed by a crew for HGTV's "That's Clever." The piece is slated to be shown in early 2007 (date to be announced at a later date). Director, Arlington Forbes, said of my work, "This is some fine pottery, and we have seen a lot of pottery."

As the owner of "Pine Hill Pottery" I hope to serve the community year round through workshops, community education and the sale of fine "one of a kind" ceramic works. The retail showroom reflects my desire to support and give exposure to emerging artists, representing a handfull of "area" artists and their work.

Artistically my interests lie specifically in the realm of wood-fired functional wares. You will find a combination of wheel thrown and hand-built pieces amongst my work. This speaks to my appreciation for the aesthetic qualities of useful objects, which define their appeal."

Some of my other creative interests include, Printmaking, Photography and Woodworking.

Presently, I am enrolled at UW-River Falls, and am taking coursework towards a Master's of Science in Education-Fine Arts degree.

I hold my under-graduate degree from MSU-Moorhead, MN, in Art Education, and have been employed at Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN) as an Art Instructor, since 1992.
